CNTV Loves The World of Chinese!

Anyone who’s flicked on a television in China knows CCTV, a group of national television stations that make up China’s premiere TV entertainment platform. CNTV, the English-language offshoot of CCTV that’s dedicated to spreading the word about Chinese culture, has recently partnered with The World of Chinese to showcase some of our content on their website.

So what can you find on our new CNTV site? Some of the best highlights from our magazine and our blog. In case you missed it in the magazine, dive deep into the lives of Chinese children with Sam Kestenbaum’s amazing piece, “Big Brother Laowai.” Climb to the top of a fabled mountain in “Temples in the Clouds,” or settle down at the dinner table for “A Love Affair with Dumplings.” Dive into “Thirty Years of Swimsuits” or perfect your Chinese skills with our in-depth guide on saying “no”, “Noooo, you can’t say that!”

Just like our site (which you should be checking daily because that’s how frequently we update), CNTV’s site will be updated regularly, so bookmark it to make sure you don’t miss any great The World of Chinese content.

Of course, our partner site with CNTV is just the beginning! There’s a lot more on the horizon, and it’s so cool and secret that I can’t tell you about it! At all! But keep checking back, and in the meantime, check out The World of Chinese channel on CNTV’s English website!
