Fei Siren (废斯人)

Fei Siren (废斯人)

Fei Siren is the pen name of Kuang Bin, a post-90s writer based in his hometown of Luotian, in northeastern Hubei. Kuang works in science outreach at Tiantang Lake National Wetland Park and writes short stories in his spare time. Published in a number of esteemed literary magazines, his work draws heavily on nature and regional culture. His short story “Arrive at the Heart of the Forest” won the Best Short Story award at the Hubei Literary Awards in 2023, and his anthology “Hometown Chronicles” received the Qu Yuan Literary and Arts Award in 2024.
