Yang Jieling (杨洁凌)

Yang Jieling is a PhD candidate in Cultural Anthropology at Victoria University of Wellington. Drawing on long-term ethnographic fieldwork in China’s southeastern province of Guizhou, her research focuses on ethnic communities, their cultural heritage, and everyday life. She is particularly interested in how local traditions are preserved, adapted, and reimagined amid social and cultural change.
