Drawn by official tourism campaigns and Nepal’s low cost of living, these young Chinese are reshaping the local training scene, from English classrooms and coffee academies to yoga studios, tennis courts, and more.
But many newcomers, used to the conveniences of modern cities back home, are still surprised to find patchy electricity, erratic water supply, congested roads, and visible air pollution as part of daily life in Nepal.
