Doors

In the hutongs, you can find doors of all kinds of styles. A refined door is like an elegant woman, with decorative cylinders like hair pins, door knockers like earrings, door piers like drum-shaped stools. Outside the door is the hutong, inside is life. On each door, there are as many electricity meters as there are families inside. The markings on the meter swepted across by the pointers are the traces of life.
