Gong Yaokun has had two passions for as long as he can remember: English and travel. Kun was a successful English-speaking tour guide in Chengdu until Covid-19 forced him to seek another career...as an online English teacher for Chinese seniors.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 and China’s borders shut down, Kun’s life took a hit. Sitting at home with no job and no income, he chances upon the world of online teaching. He then receives a surprising job offer to teach English to senior Chinese citizens.
