Remember the rats this Spring Festival season

Imagine if one morning you make your way to the local bank to withdrawal your life savings. You finally have enough to afford that down payment on that seaside villa you’ve had your eye on. However, upon your arrival, the bank teller informs you that your savings have been wiped clean, effectively erasing the last twenty years of hard work.

This tragedy was what befell a certain community of mice that inhabited a 4S car shop in the Middle Kingdom.

Having safely stored away a large quantity of food reserves within an abandoned human vehicle, the mice came to find their peanut warehouse raided by the employee giants of the shop.

The giants attempted to flaunt their successful haul by advertising on their internet service but—perhaps surprisingly—public opinion soon swayed against them.

Many internet-using commenters cried out against the blatant disregard for rodent welfare that this act entailed and lamented over the loss of months of hard labor.

Unfortunately, none of this translates into compensation for the afflicted family. We can only send our thoughts and hope that they end a way through this difficult time.
